my favourite song at the minute is Patio Song by Gorky’s Zygotic Mynci. they’re a welsh band, so not very big unfortunately. i love this song in particular because it symbolises life. the english part of the song is talking about the joys, the sun and love, and the welsh part is talking about the cold and rainy side. it opens up with “well isn’t it a lovely day, oh i’m feeling all brand new.” and there’s something about that line that makes me feel good. i suggest giving it a listen if you like folk summery songs.
