My favorite book when I was little was Sabriel.
It's about a land divided into 2 kingdoms, the new and old. Most people live in peace in the new kingdom because over the wall in the old, necromancers and the undead have free reign.
Sabriel comes to from a long line of necromancers known as abhorsens, who learn to wield special bells and do magic to force the dead back into rest.
It's really an amazing book. I highly suggest you read it especially if you like fantasy.
Ps, she DEFINITELY wouldn't wear this but I just used her character as inspiration for creating my own look ☺️
