@sundancer16 when you have a man that sees you as his queen and treats you like a Royal one at least me don't need all the glitz n glam. As for the dress or expense my parents paid nothing!!!! I didn't have that type of daddy like we see in the movies.... However I did have a beautiful layered floral lace dress with a tied vested front trimmed in offwhite Macrame lace with thin straps.... it was my maid of honor dress I'd bought long before I got married. I thought it was the most beautiful gown n had to have it thx for sharing 😆

@sassykat You're lucky your parents bought your wedding dress (or will buy it.) I had to pay for my whole wedding on my own. I definitely don't think wedding gowns are overrated. You get ONE DAY in your whole entire life to dress like a gosh darn freaking QUEEN. (Unless you're a real life queen, which most of us arent.) So might as well take advantage of the one time opportunity to do that. My gown was $2,500 from Casablanca and I don't regret spending that much money on one day. The dress was worth it to me. I was told I looked like a fairy queen and a moon goddess etc. Best day of my life hands down.

@sundancer16 wedding gowns are over rated like the some designers . Your buying ty their name their product for what.... a one day memory ....giving birth is priceless compared to some of the horrid designs mind you that dress is divine but uhm ya I'd never ask my parents to go in debt over me
