I don't like organized religion since it's used as an excuse by a lot of people to treat other people badly and starts wars.
Religion was started back when people didn't know the answers to natural phenomena like storms and famine.
They created religions and myths to explain what they didn't know because they didn't have the capabilities our modern scientists have.
Because it was such a large part of the culture, religions have persisted into the modern day because people want to hold onto traditions of their ancestors.
But the high negative effect it has on society makes me really wish people would just retire it just like they've ended sacrificing people to God's for good crops and stoning people to death for wearing clothing made of two different fibers π
