Another one for Amelia. This is what I imagine as life before America. From what ancestry has showed me, she and my great-great grandfather were from neighboring villages. I wonder how they met. I wonder what they were like as a couple, or if it was a marriage of convenience due to hard times. A couple of years ago, my Grandpa was notified he had inherited like 1/10th of an acre in the valley my great-great grandparents were from. It was split up between him, his brothers and a bunch of distant cousins he never knew existed. Quite interesting that 100+ years and 4 generations later, we are still connected to the land our ancestors left. #ancestry #italian #immigrants

This is so cool that you researched your genealogy. I am also researching mine. I have puritans from New England in my past with cool names like Mercy Goodspeed and Prudence Sweetland. I want to write stories about them.
