Another Amelia inspired outfit. This one as what I imagine being a seamstress or a laundress would be like. Life as a single mother in the 1910’s-1920’s. I can’t possibly imagine how hard life was for her. I was told by my grandfather, at one point the family had so little money they lived in a tent with a dirt floor. #1910s #americandream

As a result of this poverty, my great-grandmother, Rose, and I would assume her older sister, Isabelle, never got an education past 8th grade.
