"I've never seen it, the ocean. My life has always been settled in the Midwest. " Alice looked up at the sky, her small hands rested behind her as she leaned back sighing. Megan suddenly turned towards Alice.
"we are going to an ocean. Your missing another world , another species." Alice's face lit up her, hands coming around her freinds back and they hugged each other close. "So this is a getaway trip before you go off to UCLA and leave me all alone?"
"Yep" Megan responded. They both looked up at the sunny cloudless sky, the last time they'll be like this.
