happy pride month! a little fun fact about me: i am a lesbian and i use they/them and she/her pronouns :) pride is an incredibly important part of healing from the past, and continuing to grow as a community and im really thankful i live in a country that (in some ways) is supportive of lgbtq+ issues. this is a reminder to be thankful for a chance to celebrate the history of lgbtq peoples, because so much of our history has been purposefully erased. this is also a reminder that pride is founded on the shoulders of people of color, women, and the trans community, and without strong and brave people like marsha p johnson, pride wouldn't exist. if you're seeing this and live in a country/commun...
