Jirai Kei (地雷系), translating to "𝔩𝔞𝔫𝔡𝔪𝔦𝔫𝔢 𝔱𝔶𝔭𝔢", is a subculture and aesthetic originating from Japan that is heavily based on the teens hanging out in the night life of 𝔎𝔞𝔟𝔲𝔨𝔦𝔠𝔥𝔬. During the height of its popularity it highly resembled Japanese Girly fashion, the edgier variants of it in particular, but has since moved on to integrate a broader variety of styles. •••★
