Hello! ...how are you ? 'Traditional clothes of Maghreb' Today, I'm sharing with you another cloth 'Karakou', a traditional fit from Algeria, precisely from Algiers. As you can see, it's kinda like a velvet jacket embroidered with golden or silver thread, pearls and rhinestones etc... About the bottom, traditionally it's a long skirt that is closed at the bottom, letting only two holes for feet, called 'Serouel Mdeouar'. It's made with satin or velvet cloth. But now, the velvet jacket can be worn with long skirts made of different type of cloth.
