It’s been increasingly difficult to exist as a low-income disabled nonbinary person in a society that is ever bending toward eugenics. I look for joy everywhere I can find it.

@sundancer16 hi! I tried to send a link but it wouldn’t send… but the documentary I had in mind is searchable on YouTube if you type β€œPBS eugenics.” It gives the history though it doesn’t connect the history of eugenics with current events. But yeah, the way disabled people (and other groups) are treated in this country, it’s absolutely terrifying. Thanks for your interest!

@gingerqueer Sure, I'd be interested in a short documentary about it. My cousin was a "test tube baby" that they designed to be a boy with blonde hair and blue eyes. My family did think that was a little strange to "design" human being. Is that what you're talking about? Like, It's hard to be joyful in a society where you feel like you're not "normal" or "desireable?"
