well expressed. you have a beautiful way with words. i couldn’t agree more. i can’t relate much to being attracted romantically to anyone but platonic wise this is true. i like spending time with people (that is until my social battery is gone) who have the same morals, similar goals/ambitions in life while simultaneously being the complete opposite of me. when we have things in common and relate to each other’s experiences, we can connect on relatability and understand us on deeper level. while our differences can help learn more about the world, gain wisdom, attract each other’s qualities, and/or explore more ideas, customs, cultures, and things we may have never thought about or originally have the desire to do. i can not say i am naturally drawn to people as most are, but some people are cool. i don’t regret the few friendships i have made. ❤️

yess I sometimes juggle with wanting to believe in both, is it truly ‘opposites attract’ , or is it ‘like begets like’🧐 I think I’ve seen (somewhere on the internet) that even if we find an attraction/fascination with someone who’s strikingly opposite to us in someway, most people are likely to go settle for someone that is similar to them bc it’s more of a harmonious union, which i think makes sense. In the end we just want someone who’ll understand and gets us 💖
