for non muslims...this is called a niqab where we cover our face for modesty and protection and for god,but before people call us opressers i want to ask you a question if you had a peice of real gold jewelery would u leave it out in the middle of nowhere as if its nothing? i wouldnt its too precious,thats how women are portraded in the quran we are seen as gold, and another fact in islam women are ment to be treat as actual queens,not like they are dirt
