@mystic_enigma13 Well, we actually CAN perform miracles (through God's power of course, on our own we can do nothing.) I have never personally witnessed it myself, but my husband was miraculously healed, my pastor was miraculously healed, I have heard of babies in the womb that were basically recommended to be aborted because they wouldn't live outside the womb but they were miraculously healed and born 100% healthy, and in the Bible even people that weren't Jesus' disciples were doing miracles. Check out Mark 9:38 where John goes up to Jesus and basically said, "we saw someone driving out demons in your name and we told him to stop, because he was not one of us.โ Jesus replies,ย โDo not stop him, for no one who does a miracle in my name can in the next moment say anything bad about me,ย for whoever is not against us is for us." And remember when Pharaohโs magicians duplicated God's miracles THREE TIMES!? This is found in Exodus 7-8. Moses throws down his staff and it turns into a snake. Pharoah's people are all like "Yeah? Big deal, we can do that, too." So witchcraft is VERY REAL but the power is coming from something evil if it isn't coming from God. We have to be VERY careful when dealing with the dark spirit world. My mom played with a ouji board when she was little and it spelled out F*** Y-o-u to her and her best friend Laura... moving all by itself with no one touching it! My mom is a very honest woman and never lies to me and would have no reason to make this story up. Anyway, she and her friend threw the board in the trash after that. It's dangerous to mess with demons just like you said!!!
I should also mention that when working with magic you need to be entuned with your intuition... if you're work with spirits that you feel that are not safe then they are most likely deception in nature, in the end you need to be careful
I find it very misleading to say God can use make or perform miracles but we cannot... for example in Exodus 7, God turns a staff into a snake and the Bible as tells us that we aren't allow to consult with witches (1 Samuel 28).... not all witches are bad, there are good witches who work with angels and fight demons and there witches that also work with dark magic... doesn't make sense to swear off magic completely, it's okay to work with angels and do magic as long as you don't consult with demons
I'm sorry to hear that. I am always, for some reason, drawn to people who are negative and need help. Must be my co-dependency issues and wanting to help people/feel needed so that I feel like I'm fulfilling a purpose. (2 on the enneagram.) May I ask, if you don't mind, what you think the Bible is missing or what part of the truth it leaves out?
