Part 3/3) @sundancer16 has created a really thought provoking challenge on symbols. I decided to make a short 3-part series on ancient avian symbology in first to third century Christian art. I'll be presenting three different birds and explaining their significance to the early church back in the days when Christianity was a fringe illegal cult under Roman rule. Let me know if you find these interesting- I studied this in college so I have a lot more I could do, and I'd love to answer any questions about art or theology if you have them.
