UGADI is a festival celebrated by Hindhus from Andra Pradesh,Karnataka,Maharasthra and Telangana states of India..
It is a festival celebrating New year for the hindhus as the word "Ugadi" means "beginning of a new age" and this festival is celebrated on the first day of the Hindu lunisolar calender month of chaitra.
P.S:I wasn't able to type the description..there was some problem so typing about it here...
