French Riviera Diaries | Chapter II — A Summer Day at Maybourne Riviera | 11.06.2026
The day began with that beautiful calm you only ever feel on holiday.
We woke up without any rush and went straight down to the hotel pool. The sun was already high, the sea was sparkling in the distance and the atmosphere was exactly what we needed after so many days of travelling and plans.
We spent the morning diving into the pool, laughing with friends, listening to soft music in the background and having long conversations in the sun.
There was no urgency at all, just that simple kind of happiness that appears when everything feels right.
Between swims, we lay on the sunbeds, talking about everyth...
