Dear God, is that what they pray?
Cause when i pray it's like my brain goes blank and i don't know what to say.
It's like I can't tell you about my day.
It’s like something keeps pushing these words away.
I want to tell you everything when I pray
Because when I pray I feel like all you do is say “k” then move on with your day.
Dear God, you gave me this gift of life.
But I only get the rating from a ten to a five.
I feel like for people to notice me I have to commit a crime or get in a fight
Or try to jump from a height that I won't survive.
Dear God, I know you heard me scream.
I know you were the one who saved me.
Saved me from the pain and the abuse.
So dear God let's call this a truce....
