Since Betelgeuse is the name of a star, a star name that is really pretty for a girl is Vega! Electra is another pretty name, one of the 7 Sisters. And since Lydia is into the dark aesthetic, maybe she bestowed upon her daughter a meaningful name that means DARK: Leila means night, Kieran means little dark one, and Melanie means darkness.
