@cigs_and_candles you aren’t wrong though… there is something really intriguing about the aesthetic. it’s like, a pretty prison. it’s a weird lens on human psychology where they have all this secret suffering but value image above all, so the only thing that could make things worse is if everyone found out. as long as you know it’s not the sweet deal it seems like, there’s no harm in enjoying it as a Pinterest board.
