it's okay, they disappoint me too. even though i *know* they love me, how can two people raise me to be good and then get mad when i say "Black Lives Matter" and vote for an end to the regime that cares about money more than people? how can two people teach me to think critically and then feel betrayed when i announce I'm choosing a child-free existence so I can focus on changing the world and enjoying this life they brought me into? oof idk how, but they find ways, lemme tell ya.

and tbf, i also have been disappointed in me at times. I've done some things my way and paid the price. mom & dad were right about a few things, after all.

but I don't think they're right about socialism and roc...
