Roman Empire, 57 AD Read more > Ancient roman women’s wear (men and women basically wore the same) - 1st century. The tunica is blue, and the palla is orange. Most clothing was simple in structure and basic form, and its production required minimal cutting and tailoring, but all was produced by hand and every process required skill, knowledge and time.
