I think very spatially. How, when, and where a piece is created influences my work (I'd argue it's like that for everyone, whether they realize it or not!).
My inner world is imaginative and beautiful - and spatially informed by motifs such as gardens, landscapes, buildings, rooms, etc.
If the space isn't right, the art suffers. That speaks for both my actual irl setting and my mental state.
My art tends to lean towards abstract dreamscapes or surreal "corners" where color, texture, and place intertwine to "say" something new - giving the viewer a new place to go. Ideas you can "step into." Even here on Combyne, I'd say most of my posts are derived from bein...
