The day prior to the murder, she heard him speaking with someone in his room about changing his will. The changes in the will would cut the amount of money that she was to receive in half. She immediately formed a plan to kill him as soon as possible. The following morning she asked to have breakfast with him in the conservatory, when his back was turned she shot him three times in a back of the head.
