marie's face was cold, her dark eyes focused on the papers in front of her. anthony was sure those eyes could burn a hole through them, or perhaps through him. everyone feared his wife, and it was the first time he felt what it's like.
he was sure marie wouldn't leave him, but he was even more sure she wouldn't forgive him.
"how old is she?", she asked in a cold tone, despite the age being stated quite clearly in the papers she was looking at.
"sixteen", her husband breathed out.
he knew what she was like, and he already imagined what she'd say next. he's seen her do it countless times, but he never really found himself on the other side, and they were married for seventeen years,...
