@jessthenaturegoth Yes! Well it's not much of a story, but I was feeling like the two people in this scene are a young wife and her father in law, the small portrait of the sailor next to the recruiting poster is her husband severing overseas. I like to imagine that he was really fun loud and friendly man- a real jokester- and with him gone most days in the house are spent in an uncommon melancholic quietness like in the scene above. And both of them are trying to act like they're okay, as not to worry the other even more. 💔
