The book is easy enough to find, I found it on "Annas Archive". If you've never read older books in English before it might be a bit of a challenge but there are many podcasts where they discuss the book a few chapters at a time and that helped me get into the older language. It's actually a really funny book, it's Austen poking fun at so called gothic novels, popular in her time (beginning of the 19th century).
@leonina_grifinoria I prefer books over movies , and I like watching the movie after reading to see if the scenes meet my imagination... That's what I'll do if I find the book !! If not then I'll definitely watch the movie first πππ
@leonina_grifinoria you're more than welcome π I'm the same too , inactive for some months then back posting lotss of outfits... And I understand your point, one time a creator sent me what she called "fashion tip" saying that I post too many outfits and items everyday and I should post 1 or 2 outfits every week and that I won't get any likes if I keep posting like this and I just found it very funny cause I used to post like 6 or more everyday and I don't care about likes I care most about sharing all my ideas even if none will see them I'll be happy with what I see . I really enjoy seeing your outfits, you're a very creative and unique person β€οΈ
@nevine By the way it's inspired by the novel Northanger Abbey by Jane Austen which I read this year and I enjoyed it very much. There is also a movie from 2007 you can even find it full on YouTube, a great comfort movie! Totally recommend it.
@nevine Hii thank you, I have no idea what makes an outfit appear or not appear in other people's feeds. I am sometimes inactive for longer periods on the app and then come back to it, maybe that could have to do with it... I made hundreds of outfits but I don't actively try to get followers or likes, and I found some people with less outfits but who are apparently "promoting" their profiles more have more publicity here. I just enjoy making nice outfits from time to time. I'm happy to see our tastes overlap!
